THE JOLOMO  LLOYDS  TSB SCOTLAND AWARDS 2007

AWARDS PRESENTATION AND DINNER NATIONAL MUSEUM OF SCOTLAND EDINBURGH 21st JUNE, 2007

John Lowrie Morrison displays the Award sculpture

The first winners of the Jolomo Lloyds TSB Scotland Awards will be announced at a presentation dinner to be held in The National Museum of Scotland on the evening of 21st June, 2007. These Awards, which represent Scotland's largest arts prize, have already attracted significant media attention.

The Jolomo LTSBS Awards were hunched in May 2006 at the instigation of the artist John Lowrie Morrison (Jolomo) to encourage and promote the painting of the Scottish landscape. There is a total prize fund of £30,000 supplied by the artist with the winner receiving £20,000 and other Awards up to £10,000 being made. Full information on the Awards can be found on our website at www.jolomofoundation.org

The Awards presentation dinner will be held in The Main Hall of the National Museum of Scotland, considered by many to be Scotland's finest example of Victorian architecture. The grandeur of this magnificent space is a sumptuous backdrop for our Awards ceremony. Guests will enjoy a high quality reception and three come dinner with wines provided by the fine dining experience of "nairns anywhere'' who themselves have developed an enviable reputation. The cost per table of 10 is £1500.000. Iain Anderson will be the MC for the evening with entertainment being provided by Anne Lorne Gillies.

Each of the prize winners will receive their prize at the dinner as well as a
specially commissioned piece of sculpted glass by Scott Irvine.  The hosts and guests will be drawn from the art and media community, including
gallery owners and arts journalists from across Scotland and will also include some of Scotland's high profile personalities.

The JoIomo Foundation wilt be developing with its PR company a media campaign to promote the Awards dinner. As mentioned above, the Awards themselves have already attracted significant media attention and interest in the Awards presentation dinner has already been expressed by the media.

There are also opportunities to sponsor this event in part or entirely. These packages can be developed to meet the individual sponsor’s needs.
