over 150 years the firm of McTear's have served the
business & private communities of the City of Glasgow & the
West of Scotland as Auctioneers & Valuers of Antique & Arts.
From the founding of the Company in 1842, occupying premises at 97 Argyle Street, successive moves first took the business to The Glasgow Salerooms at Gordon Street, then to The St. Mary's Hall, Renfield Street, before opening the purpose built Royal Exchange Salerooms, St. Vincent Place in 1874. They are now operating from a new purpose built saleroom in the Clydeway Business Centre, Elliot Place, just a few minutes from Glasgow city centre. |
